Educatly is here to connect students with learning institutions, advocate education and find the best study abroad program for YOU. The platform is literally designed to help you find the best match based on your needs, capabilities, skills, interests, and preferences. To help you do that, you need to update your profile, fill in your preferences, interests, desired degree level and type, and even the cost of your desired program.

It might seem like a lot of work, but it’s actually not! We are here to help you update your Educatly profile, step-by-step to find the most suitable program for you. There are 6 specific sections to fill, and this time, we’ll tell you all about deciding on the quality of education you want.

Here’s how to update your Educatly profile:

The quality education section is pretty easy and straightforward. Programs differ in language, length, method, channel, and accreditation, and by asking yourself the right question, you can figure out exactly what you want.

• What language do you want to study in?

When it comes to studying abroad, you can study in different languages, depending on the country. However, the one constant thing is that many universities and programs all over the world teach in English, as it is the most dominant language. If you’re bilingual or trilingual, you might be confused about which language to study, and that’s okay because Educatly can connect you to a fitting program. When filling in your profile in the quality of education section, you need to choose a language preferred instruction language.

• Do you want to study part-time or full-time?

Depending on your schedule, you can study full-time and be a fully committed student or part-time and take from 2 to 3 classes per semester and less than 12 credit hours. If you have other goals when studying abroad, like traveling or working, then you can consider a part-time program to have enough flexibility to achieve your dreams.

• What type of education do you want to receive?

There are 3 options for you to choose from on-campus, fully online, or blended. If you have the time and means to study on campus abroad, then that would be amazing! You would travel, live abroad, and dedicate your time and energy to studying (well, mostly!) However, if you’re looking for more flexibility with a degree from abroad, then you should take a fully online program to attend lectures and classes virtually in the comfort of your home and reap the benefits nonetheless. On the other hand, blended learning offers the best of both worlds. You can attend some of the classes on-campus, learn in person, and have some classes online. This module offers a great deal of flexibility as well. Just choose the most suitable type for you and update your type of education in your Educatly profile.

• Yes or no?

There is some general information that Educatly would like to know to help you determine your future. For example, you might want to be able to transfer from your program if it didn’t turn out how you like it, or even the university. If that seems like something you’re afraid of, check “yes” next to “Would you like to learn about transfer opportunities?” You might even be interested in a vocational school to utilize your special skills and prepare for a job. You can also check “yes” at “Are you interested in a career or vocational school?” And just for the sake of it, if you’d consider online classes, mark yes; if they’re your weakness, check no!

• Where do you want your qualifications to be recognized?

Where you get your degree is important for your future and employment. That’s why when choosing a study abroad program, you need to ensure your degree is accredited and recognizable in the region of your choice or worldwide! You can choose a recognized degree in Europe, Asia, around the world, and more. Just fill in and update your Educatly profile to find the best match for YOU.
