There’s a lot to do with those degrees and many diverse jobs to apply to. So to help you choose and imagine a future in marketing, I have created a list of the top five in-demand marketing jobs in 2022 in Europe and the Middle East.

Top In-Demand Marketing Jobs

● Digital Marketing

In the real world, digital marketing refers to online advertisements that a consumer will find on their computer, smartphone, tablet, or other mobile computing devices. The advertisement may be an online video, banners, search engine marketing, sponsored social ads, and social network postings. Basically, it uses electronic devices to track the consumer’s journey in order to provide promotional content and analyze its effect.

Unlike conventional marketing, it uses billboards, magazine advertisements, direct mail, and television advertisements. So, if you are into non-conventional marketing, are tech-savvy, and love social media, this job is great for you. The best part is that digital marketers make around $68,000 a year on average!

● Merchandising

The job involves determining quantities, pricing commodities, designing displays, planning marketing tactics, and providing discounts or coupons. Merchandising may also apply to retail sales, which is the act of selling products to customers, using one product, image, or brand to promote another product, image, or brand.

Fun fact, Cultures and climates have distinct marketing cycles, so regional and seasonal holidays, as well as the weather, are considered when promoting a product. If this sounds like something you would enjoy doing, then it might interest you to know that a merchandiser makes, on average, around $28,000 a year.

● Ad Serving

An ad server is a web server that stores and distributes advertising content online to digital platforms, be it a website, a social media platform, or mobile applications. Ad serving technology helps websites and advertisers with ad placement, counting and monitoring mechanisms for advertisers/marketers, identifying the most profitable ads, and tracking clicks/impressions to provide data that assist them in estimating the return on investment for a specific web page.

Basically, your job would be all about moderating and controlling these servers. It might help you choose this career when you know that ad-serving employees make an average of $130,846.

● Email Marketing

Email marketing is all about distributing promotional materials by sending emails to your business’ subscribers and customers (if they agree to receive emails from you.) As a newsletter, email marketing is a great way to stay in touch with your customers, increase sales, and create a sense of community around your company.

Consent, segmentation, and customization are now the main focus of modern email marketing instead of one-size-fits-all emailing. While it may seem like a lot of work, marketing automation would take care of much of the boring work for you. The average salary of an email marketer is around $50,000 a year! If that doesn’t make you wanna get into marketing, we don’t know what will.

● Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEM, or search engine marketing, refers to the practice of enhancing a website's visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs). In contrast to direct or sponsored traffic, SEO focuses on unpaid traffic (also known as "natural" or "organic" results). For example, traffic may come from image search, video search, and academic searches, as well as industry-specific vertical engines.

An SEO plan considers how search engines function, the computer-programmed algorithms that determine search engine behavior, what people look for, and the actual search phrases or keywords placed into search engines. Increasing a website's search engine visibility is a primary goal of search engine optimization (SEO) (SERP). These prospective clients may then be turned into returning visitors! The average salary of a search engine marketing specialist is around $75,000.
