This program combines microbiology studies with language learning, allowing students to choose from French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, or Mandarin. It offers an advanced accreditation status that enables students to apply for Royal Society of Biology membership after two years of practice. The program also includes a year-long overseas research placement and provides opportunities for open days and campus tours to prospective students.

Improve your employability by learning a language while you study microbiology, including a year-long research placement overseas. Choose from French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin for the language component of the course. You may also meet with admissions staff, subject to staff availability.
