The College of International Transport and Logistics offers programs focused on various aspects of logistics and transport management. These programs aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the dynamic fields of global trade and supply chain operations.
Transport Logistics Management: This department is designed to develop an understanding of transport operations and related logistics activities. The goal is to cultivate skills and best practices among transport professionals and decision-makers. The curriculum addresses the skills deficiency in the transport logistics sector and has evolved to reflect the changing nature of the field. Courses cover principles of transport, logistics operations management, transport modeling, multimodal transport chains, planning, and sustainability. Students are taught by staff with academic research experience and practical experience as advisers and consultants.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management: This major provides an integrated study of business processes across organizations, from material sources to the final customer. Students gain core knowledge in demand planning, purchasing, inventory control, distribution, information technology, and global supply chain management. The program uses up-to-date materials, case studies, field visits, and projects to prepare students for careers in supply chain management. Graduates are prepared for roles in materials and procurement, logistics, supply chain management, inventory management, operations, distribution, sales, customer service, and consulting.
Logistics of International Trade Management: This department focuses on providing global businesses with trained graduates who can effectively contribute to the international trading environment. The curriculum emphasizes practical industry knowledge and managerial skills needed by executives to conduct international trade, move goods and services across national boundaries, and manage daily operations. Graduates can pursue diverse career options in international trade logistics management fields, such as the maritime industry, logistics service providers, stock market, banking, insurance, import and export, and positions in finance, marketing, consultancy, and management.
