The Master's in Nursing Care for Hospitalized Patients is a comprehensive program designed to equip nurses with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to provide high-quality care in a hospital setting. This program is tailored to meet the needs of nurses who wish to transition into hospital care or enhance their existing skills in this area.

Program Objectives

• Conèixer tot l'espectre de l'atenció d'infermeria que es deuen aplicar als pacients als centres hospitalaris, de manera àmplia i amb un ampli coneixement, per tal de dotar els professionals de les capacitats i habilitats necessàries per al desenvolupament de la pràctica clínica als centres hospitalaris.
• Prendre decisions sobre les accions a dur a terme davant situacions clíniques determinades.
• Atendre correctament el pacient i presa de decisions adequades en situacions clíniques complexes.
• Conèixer i aplicar correctament els processos i protocols que se segueixen als centres hospitalaris.

Program Structure

The program is divided into several modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of hospital care:

1. Immersió en el Medi Hospitalari: Introduction to the hospital environment, including its structure, organization, and the role of nursing within it.
2. Àrees de suport diagnòstic i terapèutic: Exploration of diagnostic and therapeutic support areas, such as radiology, laboratory tests, and physical therapy.
3. Malalties mèdiques (medicina interna): Study of medical conditions, including infectious diseases, pharmacology, and dermatology.
4. Pràctica simulada: Practical simulation exercises to apply theoretical knowledge in a controlled environment.
5. Malalties de l’aparell Cardio-respiratori: Focus on cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic plans.
6. Neurociències i malalties de l'aparell múscul-esquelètic (Traumatologia): Examination of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, including diagnostic tests and treatment plans.
7. Àrea de malalties digestives i metabòliques: Study of digestive and metabolic diseases, including diagnostic tests and management plans.
8. Malalties nefrològiques, de trasplantaments i immunologia: Exploration of nephrological diseases, transplantation, and immunology.
9. Malalties hemato-oncològiques: Focus on hematological and oncological diseases, including diagnostic tests and treatment plans.
10. Malalties ginecològiques-obstètriques i pediàtriques: Study of gynecological, obstetric, and pediatric conditions.
11. Bloc quirúrgic i serveis de medicina intensiva: Introduction to surgical and intensive care services.
12. Projecte d’intervenció clínica: Development of a clinical intervention project.
