The University of La Verne is a private university, around 35 miles from Los Angeles. At eight regional campuses in California, La Verne provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses and professional degrees.

Overview
The University of La Verne’s main campus provides students with many modern facilities to support learning and extracurricular activities. On campus, the arts are well supported, with several galleries, photography studios and theatres. The university also has four sports venues for athletics, fitness and swimming. Also, the Elvin and Betty Wilson Library provide academic resources for the main campus.
As well as the La Verne campus, the university has nine additional locations around southern California. Among these are a College of Law in Ontario, the Vandenberg Space Force Base and a Naval Base in Ventura County.

But if you prefer the business of urban life, then L.A., San Diego, and Santa Barbara are all reachable from the Metrolink train line. Alternatively, you can drive to these cities in between studies.
