Student services
The Student Services Centre is your best first stop if you need any information about what support and activities are available to you.
The University strives to ensure that support is provided for you through the Support to Study Policy. Both the Policy and Procedure are intended for use when your health, wellbeing and/or behaviours are being affected and impact on your ability to experience University life.
Housing services
As a campus university, Keele has over 2,800 bedrooms on site, with a range of accommodation available and all within a short walk of the centre of campus. We offer guaranteed accommodation on campus for undergraduate applicants who make Keele their firm choice.
Library services
The Keele University library has a variety of study spaces. Whether you like to work with a group of friends or prefer to work in silence there’s a study space to suit everyone. We also provide bookable rooms for group working or for single study.
ICT services
Keele University uses the secure eduroam platform to serve wireless internet connectivity to the campus, including the halls of residence.
Medical services
All students are entitled to free emergency treatment however, if you have a four month visa you cannot register with the Health Centre and need to ensure you have adequate healthcare insurance for payment if you need non-emergency treatment.
If your visa is for 6 or more months then you can access free medical care by registering at a practice local to you.

Everything’s on your doorstep at Keele, with all the most important services and facilities gathered together at the centre of campus. And because our student population is quite small, there’s a great sense of community.
Our 600 acre campus has plenty to offer whether you enjoy a woodland walk, a night socialising with friends or partying the night away in the Students’ Union. There’s places for you to relax during the day, in between lectures and enjoy during the evening.
Sports facilities
Our Sports facilities at Keele offer something for everyone, whether it’s social sports for £1 a session, or competitive sports as part of our Athletic Union. Join us at the Sports Centre for our gym, fitness classes, dance studio and more!
