Campus life
The campus is located in a multicultural town centre, with University buildings, accommodation and facilities within walking distance. It is part way through a £300m investment in the campus, creating new, modern spaces and a safe and friendly place for you to focus on your studies.
A short walk from campus you will find a variety of shops and supermarkets. If you are missing your home food, you will also find many international supermarkets selling authentic products close to the University. Halal food is very easy to find.
Sports facilities
There is no shortage of beautiful open outdoor space for physical activity and wellbeing. Enjoy 100 acres of quiet green space in nearby Albert Park, just a short walk from campus.
Climb nearby Roseberry Topping for breathtaking views of Teesside. Enjoy long walks in the North York Moors, one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the UK. Discover the spectacular coastline, ancient woodland and historic sites of our picturesque region, accessible by public transport.
