We do our best to ensure that your time at the NIT provides you with a wide-ranging wealth of experience. Students, staff and network partners come together in after-work activities, at subject presentations, and at parties. In the process, they make what is special about the NIT?s unique community continue to grow.

Many of you live and learn under one roof and maintain close ties with the NIT as your new home. NIT staff are happy to be of assistance and will readily answer questions about your studies, the building, and hints on where to go and what to see in Hamburg.

Housing services

As well as teaching and working spaces, the NIT has residential accommodation. Available to rent are 65 student apartments on three floors of the building.

The NIT is located on the spacious, green campus of the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) with its large lecture hall and library.

The NIT is located on the campus of the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), offering students a perfect opportunity to combine study and life.

The TUHH campus is a place of pulsating ideas and encounters. Lectures, concerts, parties, company presentations and much more enrich the cultural atmosphere. There are many groups you can join to make music, sing or put on plays. Join the water sports group to canoe or the Academic Sailing Club to cover greater distances by yacht. The cosmopolitan make-up of the student body encourages intercultural exchange.

The FIBAA is an internationally aligned European agency for quality assurance and quality development in academic education. In the course of accreditation, study programs are assessed by recognized experts who make recommendations on further course development.
