Program Overview
The Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honors program offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), aims to provide professional training to undergraduate students to produce future pharmacists.
Program Description
Pharmacy is an interdisciplinary field that combines knowledge of medical and health sciences, pharmaceutical chemistry, drug formulation, and disease prevention and management towards patient care. After studying the basic sciences, subsequent years involve learning about drug manufacturing, methods for analyzing drug quality, approaches to managing patient therapy, and conducting research.

Admission Requirements
Minimum SPM Requirements for Malaysian Applicants
- Achieve at least Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, and one other subject
- Achieve at least Grade C in Malay and English
STPM/Matriculation/Basics of Science/Pre-Pharmacy Study/Pre-Medicine Study
- Obtain at least Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics
- Note: The program must be recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and must be conducted for at least one year

Diploma in Pharmacy
- Obtain at least Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics

Diploma in Science
- Obtain at least Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics

- Obtain at least a score of 6 at the High Level (HL) for Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Physics

A-Levels
- Obtain at least Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Physics

First-Degree Holders in Science
- Obtain at least Grade B in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Physics

Additional Requirements
- Pass with excellence in the exams and/or interviews set by the Faculty
- English Language Requirements:
- MUET Level 4 for Malaysian citizens
- IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT >46, MUET Level 4 for international students
