Associate Degree in Business Studies

The Associate Degree in Business Studies is not an entry point and therefore credit cannot be awarded.

Program Requirements

To be awarded the Associate Degree in Business Studies, students are required to:

• Complete 16 standard subjects or their equivalent, where a standard subject is worth 8 credit points
  • Complete at least two thirds of the 16 standard subjects (i.e., 11 out of 16 subjects) in business-based or business-related discipline areas approved by the Course Director
    • Including at least four subjects at Level Two
• Complete at least one half of the 16 standard subjects (i.e., at least 8 subjects) by taking subjects taught by the university or subjects designated as 'university subjects' (i.e., those subjects offered under affiliation agreements between the university and external organisations)
• Complete 128 points of business or business-related subjects or at least 88 points of business or business-related subjects and up to 40 points of elective subjects
