The Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the agricultural industry.

Normal Course Duration

The normal course duration for the Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management is:


  • Full-time: 3 years (6.0 sessions)
  • Part-time: 6.0 years (12.0 sessions) The normal course duration is the effective period of time taken to complete a course when studied full-time. Students are advised to consult the Enrolment Pattern for the actual length of study.

Admission Criteria

The admission criteria for the Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management are:


  • A completed High School Certificate with an ATAR equivalent of 70 (including adjustment factors) or equivalent
  • A completed AQF Certificate IV or higher level qualification
  • 50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification
  • A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies
  • Successful completion of two university level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies
  • Standard English Language Proficiency requirements

Credit

Credit will be determined on a case-by-case basis relevant to prior learning.


Graduation Requirement

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192 points.

Students are eligible for the Ag Institute Undergraduate Student membership to the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology. Graduated students are eligible for membership to the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology as 1st year Graduate Member, then 2nd Year Graduate Member, and subsequently as a Full Member.
