Admission and Credit
Admission Criteria
Applicants will be expected to have:
- had a minimum of five years appropriate industry experience;
- have completed a TAFE Zookeeping certificate or equivalent;
- have completed relevant previous tertiary study.
Credit
No special arrangements apply.

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.

The course consists of two 16-point subjects, as follows:
- BIO489 Zoo Curatorship (16 points)
- BIO327 Wildlife Ecology and Management (16 points)

Recognised by the Zoo and Aquarium Association Australasia (formerly the Australian Regional Association of Zoological Parks and Aquaria or ARAZPA) and the Australasian Society of Zoo Keeping (ASZK) as meeting the advanced training needs of their members.
