While this is a standalone course, students may benefit from the knowledge that builds across the suite of nuclear science and safety microcredentials, in the following order: Nuclear Science Essentials, Radiation Science Essentials, Essentials of Radiation Safety, and Essentials of Nuclear Safety and Security.
