Program Overview

The private swim lessons program consists of six 45-minute sessions of individualized instruction. The instructors work with participants on the first day to determine their goals and level of ability.

Eligibility

Individuals 5 years of age and older are eligible for private swim lessons.

Pricing

The pricing for private swim lessons is as follows:

• Private Lessons:
  • UNCG Students: $75
  • Kaplan Center Members: $120
  • Community Members: $150

Definitions

• UNCG Students: Currently enrolled students with an active Kaplan Center membership
• Kaplan Center Members: All other current members
• Community Members: Any non-member of the Kaplan Center

Program Details

Participants are required to bring the following to their swim lessons:

• Swim attire
• Goggles
• A towel Participants are allowed to wear attire that will not hinder their ability to swim safely or engage in water activities. Swim diapers are required for all children not toilet trained. Thong swimsuits are prohibited.

Payment and Registration

Once an instructor confirms the dates, participants must pay before the first day of lessons. Acceptable forms of payment include:

• Check
• Visa/MasterCard To pay, participants will work with their assigned swim instructor to determine the payment details.
