Introduction to the Mevlana Exchange Programme

The Mevlana Exchange Programme is a program that enables the exchange of students and academic staff between Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions of other countries. According to the Mevlana Handbook published by the Higher Education Institution, "The Mevlana Exchange Programme is a program that makes it possible for students and academic staff to exchange between higher education institutions in Turkey and abroad."

Program Description

The program allows higher education institutions in Turkey to sign bilateral protocols with universities abroad, enabling students and academic staff to participate in exchange programs. The Mevlana Exchange Programme includes all higher education institutions worldwide, without geographical discrimination.

Eligibility and Participation

• Students who are enrolled in formal education at any higher education institution in Turkey can participate in the Mevlana Exchange Programme.
• The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Students can study abroad for a minimum of one term and a maximum of two terms.
• Academic staff can lecture abroad for a minimum of one week and a maximum of three months.
