Program Overview

The university program is designed to cultivate international talents with a global perspective and excellent Chinese cultural communication skills. The program aims to equip students with proficient Chinese teaching skills and good cross-cultural communication abilities, enabling them to work in various teaching tasks domestically and internationally.

  • General Chinese International Education

Program Features

The program has the following features:


  • A dual-mentor system with professional and internship mentors
  • A combination of school-based mentor guidance and external mentor joint training
  • Emphasis on practicality and applicability, as well as improving students' cross-cultural communication abilities
  • Enhanced foreign language training for Chinese students and Chinese language and cultural skills training for international students

Learning Mode and Duration

The program adopts a full-time learning mode with a duration of 2 years, consisting of 1 year of coursework and 1 year of internship and thesis writing. The program allows for delayed graduation, with a maximum duration of 6 years.

The program provides internship opportunities for students to work as Chinese teachers in overseas teaching units or in domestic and international schools, enterprises, and institutions.
