Program Overview
The Department of Psychology at Marquette University trains both undergraduate and graduate students.
Areas of Study
The department encompasses various areas of psychology, including:
- Developmental psychology: studying how people behave and change throughout life
- Focusing on human development and behavioral changes
- Social psychology: concerned with the effects of social situations on human behavior
- Examining the impact of social environments on behavior
- Personality psychology: studying individual differences in how people behave
- Investigating unique characteristics and traits
- Neuropsychology: studying the effects of brain damage, disorder, or disease on behavioral and brain function
- Analyzing the relationship between brain function and behavior
- Biological psychology and neuroscience: concerned with the biological bases of behavior
