Open Science Programme
The Open Science programme is implemented as part of the "Excellence Initiative Research University" project. This programme provides financial aid for the publication of scientific papers in the Open Access formula.
Programme Description
The programme is addressed to employees and doctoral students at the Warsaw University of Technology, whose research output is included in the evaluation of research activities at the University. Financial aid is given for publishing papers in journals ranked in the first decile according to the current CiteScore metrics in the Scopus database or awarded a minimum of 140 points on the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the programme, applicants must be employees or doctoral students at the Warsaw University of Technology. Their research output must be included in the evaluation of research activities at the University.
Publication Requirements
Financial aid is provided for publishing papers in journals that meet specific criteria, including:
- Journals ranked in the first decile according to the current CiteScore metrics in the Scopus database
- Journals awarded a minimum of 140 points on the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education
