Scientific Student Circle (TDK)
The Tudományos Diákkör, or Scientific Students' Associations, is a significant platform for students to develop independent research skills under the guidance of experienced academics. It serves as an initial stepping stone for those aspiring to become researchers, offering a unique environment for scientific "apprenticeship" rather than mere imitation. Students, guided by their supervisors, embark on their research journeys, exploring new paths based on their abilities and diligence.
The outcomes of TDK projects are presented publicly at the faculty's annual TDK conference, usually held in mid-November. The best projects are selected to participate in the national TDK conference, which takes place in the spring of odd-numbered years and is hosted by different institutions each time. Details about the upcoming faculty TDK conference, including deadlines, can be found on the faculty's TDK webpage, along with documents from previous conferences.
Useful information for participants and those interested in the TDK can also be found on the university's TDK webpage.
