Program Overview
The Environmental Engineering Master's program (MSc) is designed to provide students with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of environmental protection. Graduates of the program will possess a broad range of skills and knowledge in areas such as the rational use of natural resources, waste reduction technologies, waste recycling, hazardous waste disposal, nature and landscape conservation, and regional planning and urban development.
Program Objectives
The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to recognize and mitigate environmental hazards, reduce existing environmental damage, and eliminate environmental harm. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in environmental engineering, as well as the opportunity to specialize in specific areas of interest.
Program Structure
The program is structured to provide students with a high degree of flexibility and choice. Students can participate in project work from the first semester, and can choose from a range of specializations and courses to tailor their studies to their individual interests and goals.
Specializations
The program offers two specializations:
- Environmental Management specialization
- Environmental Technology specialization
Modular Structure
The program includes a modular structure, which allows students to choose from a range of courses and modules to create a personalized study plan. The modular structure includes a természettudományi modul (6 credits), which provides students with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in the field of natural sciences or acquire the basic skills necessary for professional practice.

The Environmental Engineering Master's program is designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
