Master's in Finance - In English

The Finance Master's Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in finance, enabling them to compete in the international job market. The program aims to equip students with advanced knowledge in financial analysis, investment, and risk management.

  • Form of financing (Tuition Fee): State-funded and self-funded (400,000 HUF per semester)
  • Study Period: 4 semesters

Program Objective

The primary objective of the program is to train financial professionals who possess competitive knowledge in finance, particularly in investment analysis and risk management. Students will develop the ability to think independently and manage financial processes at both macro and micro levels.


What Study Skills Are Needed? (Required Prior Knowledge)

To be admitted to the master's program, students must have a minimum of 60 credits in the following areas:


  • Methodological Knowledge: 15 credits
  • Economic Knowledge: 10 credits
  • Business Basics: 10 credits
  • Social Science Basics: 10 credits
  • Professional knowledge: 15 credits

Which majors can I consider with full credit value? (Equivalent Programs)

The following programs are considered equivalent and can be taken into account for admission:

  • Economic and Financial Mathematical Analysis

Language Requirements (Language Requirements)

To graduate, students must possess a language certificate in English (at least B2 level) or another living foreign language (at least B2 level), or an advanced level (C1) language certificate.
