Master of Urban Design (MUD) Program

The Master of Urban Design (MUD) is a post-professional degree that focuses on the design of urban environments. The program is designed for students who have already completed a professional degree in architecture, landscape architecture, or a related field.

The MUD program consists of 30 credits and can be completed in one year.


Admission Requirements

Admission to the MUD program requires:


  • A professional degree in architecture, landscape architecture, or a related field
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • A personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts

The MUD program consists of 30 credits, including:


  • 15 credits of required courses
  • 15 credits of elective courses
