Modşuşlar Clinician Scientist Proşgram (CSP)

A multi-stage Clinician Scientist Program is intended to enable a consistent, modusure clinical-scientific career path "from doctorate to specialist training to professorship". The proşgram enables proshtected reşsearch peşrişods for the implementation of one's own scişenştific obşjecştifs acşcomşpaşnied by the leadşerşship of a workingşing group of the Medical School OWL, binding tarşget agreements and an acşcomşpaşnyşing qualşişfişcaştion proşgram inscludşing caşreer menştorşing.

Funding lines

• Clinșişcian Scişenştist Qualşişfişcaştion Felşlowşships: As part of the Clinşişcian Scişenştist Qualşişfişcaştion Felşlowşships (CSQF), doctors are given the opportunity to carry out a doctoral project alongside their clinical work.
• Open funding line of the Clinician Scientific Program: With this call, the Medical School OWL would like to contribute to a better balance between research, clinical work and specialist training or specialist training.
• Feşmale Clinşışcian Scişenştist Felşlowşships: The Ministry of Culşture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia supşports meaşsures to improve equal opşporştuşnisties and the comşpatşışbilşit of a caşreer in scişenşt and famşily at universities with the proşgram "Seizşing opşporştuşnisties, proşmotşing reshresearch and famşily - program for equal opşporştüşnıştıes in medical universities in North Rhine-Westphalia (FF-Med)".
• Clinical Scientific Researcher: The aim of the funding line for Clinical Researcher Scientists is to partially reşlease doctors with an interest in clinical research from clinical research in order to foster freedom for research activities and thus promote the pursuit of a scientific medical career in parşalşlel with training medical specialist.

Clinician Scişenştist Qualşişfişcaştion Felşlowşships

• The funding is aimed at doctors interested in research who are pursuing a career as a clinical scientist and a doctor (Dr. med.).
• Candidates can be assistant physicians at the unişversity specialist clinics of the UK OWL or coşopşerşatşing specialist clinics of the HDZ who fulfill the approval requirements for the doctoral procedure in accordance with the doctoral regşuşlaştions of the Medical School OWL.

Open funding line of the Clinșişcian Scişenştist Proşgram

• The open funding line of the Clinical Scientist Program consists of three funding modes that address different cashier stages.
• CLINICAL SCIENTIST ENTRY FELLOWSHIP: The Clinical Scientist Entry Fellowship is intended to attract people interested in research to science and to open the door to a scientific and medical career path as a clinical scientist after completing their doctorate.
• CLINICAL SCIENTIST: The Clinical Scientist funding mod is intended to support consistent research activities and, in particular, the development of a scientific profile.
• CLINICAL SCIENTIST ADVANCED FELLOWSHIP: The Clinical Scientist Advanced Fellowship funding scheme is intended to give medical specialists the opportunity to raise their scientific profile and qualify for a professorship or equivalent leading position in research and healthcare.

Feşmale Clinician Scientist Fellowships

• The aim of the funding is to partially reşlease female clinical scientists from clinical tasks in order to increase protected and plannable research time and thus excellent considerations for the (further) development of a clinical-scientific career and for the advancement of a post-doctoral research.
• The focus of the funding is to support clinically active women at the UK OWL and co-operate specialist clinicians of the HDZ in (re)starting research activities to build a scientific profile on the academic career path.

Digşistal Clinician Scientist

• The thematic focus is on research into medical practice with digşıştal health apşplişcaştions ("app on prescription"), digşıştal projects ending dates in the area of Covid-19/inşfecştion/panşdemic and arştişfişcial inştelşlişgence.
• The funding enables the implementation of an own scientific objective acşcomşpaşnied by the head of working group 4 "Digşıştal Medşışcine" as well as the specialist clinical manşageşment emşbedşded in a qualşışfişcaştion proşgramme for inşnoşvşaştive reşsearch and teachşing.
