Introduction to Sports Leadership and Management

The Sports Leadership and Management program is designed to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and accountability. This major blends sports leadership, sociology, and coaching, management, and marketing, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the sports industry.

What Will My Study Involve?

• Take part in a 120-hour internship in a sports organisation of your choice.
• Participate in practical courses, a noho marae experience, and field trips beyond the classroom.
• The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, preparing students for careers in sports leadership and management.
