Course Completion

After completing the course, the student is familiar with the international history of the 19th and 20th centuries, major changes affecting all of humanity, and related research themes. The student understands the interactive and transnational nature of historical phenomena during the period. After completing the course, the student knows the main principles of comparative historical research and can interpret the historical roots of contemporary phenomena.

Prerequisites

Completing the course requires that the student is familiar with the basic phenomena and event history of the period covered in the high school history curriculum or has equivalent knowledge. These will not be repeated during the course, but the student must acquire knowledge of event history by the time of completion.
