Undergraduate Program

The undergraduate program at the university offers a B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), 5-year Dual Degree, and 5-year Integrated MS programme. To be eligible for admission, students must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) conducted by the Joint Admission Board (JAB).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are not citizens of India (by birth or naturalized), but not OCI/PIO candidates, shall be considered as foreign nationals. As per the decision dated February 03, 2023, passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, OCI/PIO candidates shall be considered as Indian nationals. Foreign national candidates are not required to write JEE (Main) 2023 and may register for JEE (Advanced) 2023 directly. Similarly, OCI/PIO candidates who have studied or are studying in India/abroad at the 10+2 level or equivalent are not required to write JEE (Main) 2023 and may register for JEE (Advanced) 2023 directly.

JEE (Advanced) is conducted all over India as well as in select foreign locations that may vary year to year.

Fee Structure

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee structure for international students for the undergraduate program is as follows:

• Program: B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), 5-yr Dual Degree, 5-yr Integrated MSc, B.Arch
• Tuition fees per year in INR:
  • For SAARC nationals: 2,00,000
  • For non-SAARC nationals: 6,00,000

Other Fees

An approximate break-up of other fees that need to be paid in addition to the tuition fees is as follows:

• Description:
  • Registration related: 7,200 (one-time, at the time of admission)
  • Caution money deposits: 6,000 (per semester)
  • Hall establishment charges: 16,640 (per semester)
  • Hall Budget: 1,000 (at the time of admission)
  • Hostel Overhead Charges: 830 (per semester)
  • Mess charge: 14,000 (per semester)
  • Insurance Premium: 2,500 (per year)
  • Student Brotherhood Fund: 200 (per year) Note: Mess Charges depend on the accommodation provided and choice of menu.
