Program Overview
The Spectrum Theme Community is a unique program that fosters a safe and affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ students and straight allies to explore issues of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, and their intersection. This community is located in Ireland House and is designed to promote awareness and social justice.

The Spectrum Theme Community brings together students from diverse backgrounds to freely explore issues related to gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, and their intersection. The community is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all members.
Requirements to Join the Community
- Students who have not completed ENGL 112L: Introduction to Literature will be required to enroll in a shared section of ENGL 112L if applicable.
- Returning students to the community are required to maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
Educational and Social Events
Educational and social events are provided for students throughout the year, and participating students will choose from various experiences to fulfill the requirements of living in the community.
