Learning Outcomes

1. Optimize 802.11 LAN deployments by enhancing performance and efficiency
2. Analyze radio transmission principles to understand and interpret complexities of radio transmission, antennas, and interference
3. Implement secure wireless protocols to address security challenges in wireless networks
4. Design and troubleshoot wireless networks by developing and resolving issues in complex wireless network deployments
5. Communicate technical information effectively through engaging presentations and well-referenced written communications

• The WiFi MAC layer
• The WiFi Physical layer
• RF Engineering, error detection and correction
• WiFi Performance enhancements
• Wireless WAN and PAN technologies
• Broadband Link Types
• IoT and Low power wireless
