Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, students must:
- Complete a background in geology and geophysics at least to the level of a B.S. concentration.
- Complete any deficiencies concurrently with the degree.
- Acceptance into the Snow, Ice and Permafrost Geophysics concentration is open to students with strong physical science or engineering backgrounds.
- Complete the general university requirements.
- Complete the master's degree requirements.
Program Requirements
Students must:
- Complete and pass a written comprehensive examination.
- Complete at least 15 credits at the 600-level (not thesis or research).
