The Marine Mechanical Technician Foundation program provides comprehensive training in all aspects of recreational and light commercial boat repairs, including engines, drive trains, and fluid systems. Delivered full-time over 26 weeks, the program covers safety, tools, regulations, heating/cooling, plumbing, hydraulics, metal fabrication, welding, electrical theory, and engine operation. Graduates are prepared for careers as marine mechanical technicians, responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems in the recreational marine industry.
