Career Outlook

Aviation Industry Demand

According to Boeing's Pilot and Technician Outlook, demand for pilots will grow in demand between now and 2042 as airlines recover from the pandemic and a generation of older pilots retire.

  • Boeing projects 649,000 pilot opportunities will open up globally by 2042:
    • 143,000 in Eurasia
    • 134,000 in China
    • 127,000 in North America

Career Opportunities

As a graduate, students will have both the technical skills and business background required to attract the attention of potential aviation employers or on-demand aviation service providers, both in Canada and worldwide. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration in Aviation to increase their potential for career advancement if they wish to become an operations manager or a senior airline or airport administrator.
