MA Criminology

Overview

The MA Criminology program at The University of Manchester is designed to develop your intellectual, critical, and analytic skills in the academic areas of criminology and criminal justice. You will explore the interactions between politics, criminology, and criminal justice, and the impact of public policy in these areas.


Entry Requirements

  • We require a UK bachelor's degree with a First or Upper Second classification or the overseas equivalent, in any discipline.
  • When assessing your academic record, we consider your degree subject, grades achieved, and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.

Fees

  • For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are as follows:

      • UK students (per annum): £7,000
      • International, including EU, students (per annum): £13,750
