It is designed for those in work, and participants will be encouraged to share thoughts, reflections and experiences in relation to apply knowledge in work.

How you will be assessed

The programme is focussed on developing a conceptual understanding of design methodology as applied to the area of UX/UI activity, together with essential skills in the production of designed, highly usable solutions. On completion, learners will have had the opportunity to work through a process of exploration/planning/ideation/critical appraisal in producing design-led work based on objective, critical thinking. • Maintenance and submission of a personal learning journal evidencing self-directed work undertaken, with reflective comment on the learning journey, presented for Tutor review after week 5 but prior to Week 6.
  • Production of a personal, or participative, UX project evidencing a methodical approach to utilising key UX/UI design principles

Completion of the above assessment, with 80% or higher course attendance will allow participants to be issued with a Certificate of Attendance from the University to evidence CPD and professional development in work.
