Urban Design MA

Overview

The Urban Design MA is a postgraduate course that focuses on the design of cities and urban spaces. It is a one-year full-time program that is accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) as a Specialist Course.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of a lower second-class honors degree (2:2) in architecture, landscape architecture, town planning, or another related discipline, together with practical or professional experience in their own field or in urban design. Applicants are required to submit a portfolio.


If your first language is not English, you should have an IELTS 6.5 with at least 6.5 in writing and no element below 6.0.


Tuition Fees

UK tuition fee: £10,900 (Price per academic year) International tuition fee: £18,000 (Price per academic year)

The course is based at the University of Westminster's Marylebone Campus, which is home to the Westminster Business School and the Architecture, Planning, and Tourism courses. The campus has a range of facilities, including architecture studios, a fabrication laboratory, and a library.
