MSc Public Health Nursing

Overview

This course is designed to enable Health Visitors and School Nurses with a Postgraduate qualification in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing to achieve a full Master's degree. By building upon their previous postgraduate studies in specialist practice (SCPHN), this course further develops critical thinking skills necessary for advanced judgment and clinical decision-making in modern public health nursing.

• Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing
• Current registration as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (NMC register)

Fees and Funding

• UK Full-time Tuition Fee: £9,150 per year
• UK Part-time Tuition Fee: £1,017 per 20 credit module
• International Full-time Tuition Fee: £15,210 per year

Facilities and Resources

• The Health and Wellbeing building provides students with a variety of state-of-the-art clinical simulation facilities, including two simulated hospital wards, a midwifery birthing unit, physiotherapy teaching spaces, a sports and exercise facility, and a working radiography imaging suite.
