Program Overview

The Master of Science in Clinical Sciences offers two options for prospective students in a variety of research areas.


Program Options

  • Combined residency and master’s program: Those who enroll in the non-thesis clinical option are typically post-D.V.M. students also pursuing residency training programs.
  • Thesis-based program: Students who enroll in the traditional thesis-based research program may not have a D.V.M. and work under the support of a faculty member’s lab.

Clinical Sciences Department

The Department of Clinical Sciences offers high-quality education programs for professional veterinary medical students, graduate veterinarians, and the public through the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital, a faculty and veterinary medical center of excellence.
