Program Structure

The program is delivered entirely online, allowing students to gain valuable skills and knowledge at their own pace. Each credit of study is equivalent to 10 learning hours.

Stage - Taught

• Information Security Assurance and Practice: 30 credits, focusing on cybersecurity as a multi-skilled, cross-discipline area, combining complex technologies and techniques, encompassing people and processes, and having societal frameworks constraining action.
• Security Operations and Privacy: 30 credits, viewing cybersecurity operations as a cycle of preparation, action, monitoring, and correction, with a focus on monitoring systems, processes, and people to enable an effective reaction to malicious activity.
• Software Security and Ethical Hacking: 30 credits, concerning offensive security, both from the perspective of developing secure software and a testing approach to securing systems.
• Secure and Resilient Systems: 30 credits, equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills to technically understand and secure modern systems.

Stage - Dissertation
