Evangelische Fachtheologie (Master)
The goal of the Master's program in Evangelische Fachtheologie is to provide in-depth knowledge and understanding in the fields of Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology, Practical Theology, and Religious Education, as well as the ability to evaluate complex theological contexts and make socially and ethically correct judgments. Students will become familiar with exegetical, philological, historical, philosophical, systematic, and human and social science methods. The objective is to acquire independent judgment, communication, and action competence.

The program consists of compulsory modules on the following topics:
- Old Testament research
- Theology and religious history of early Christianity
- Church history
- Dogmatics
- Systematic theology
- Selected reflection areas of practical theology
- Homiletic reflection and production process
- Specialist practice in Evangelical religion
- Interdisciplinary research in the Master's program
In addition, four elective modules are to be chosen. To complete the program, a Master's thesis and a Master's examination must be completed.
