Master: Banking and Finance

The Master's program in Banking and Finance is composed of three main areas: Core Programme, Elective Programme, and Master's Thesis Module.

Core Programme

The Core Programme consists of 36 ECTS and includes the following mandatory modules:

• Introductory Module, 8 ECTS
• Core Course in Finance 1, 12 ECTS
• Economics, 16 ECTS

Elective Programme

The Elective Programme consists of 60 ECTS and offers two alternative specializations: "Business Orientation" and "Science Orientation".

Business Orientation

• Mandatory module: Econometric for Business Orientation, 8 ECTS
• Alternative mandatory modules:
  • Banking for Business Orientation, 24 ECTS
  • Corporate Finance for Business Orientation, 24 ECTS
• Mandatory modules:
  • Electives in Finance, Accounting and Economic Law, 20 ECTS
  • Electives in Business, Economics and Statistics, 8 ECTS

Science Orientation

• Mandatory module: Core Courses in Finance 2, 12 ECTS
• Mandatory module: Econometrics for Science Orientation, 16 ECTS
• Alternative mandatory modules:
  • Banking for Science Orientation, 16 ECTS
  • Corporate Finance for Science Orientation, 16 ECTS
  • Financial Markets, 16 ECTS
• Mandatory module: Electives, 16 ECTS

Master's Thesis Module

The Master's Thesis Module consists of 24 ECTS and includes the following components:

• Master's Thesis Seminar, 2 ECTS
• Master's Thesis, 20 ECTS
• Master's Examination, 2 ECTS
