Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary: Year 2 & 3 - July start

The Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary programme has specific enrolment requirements for students who started in Semester Two, 2024, and those who started in Semester Two, 2023.

Years 2 and 3

Students who commenced the programme in Semester Two, 2024, must enrol in the following courses:

• Semester 1, 2026:
  • EDUCSW 199 (core, zero-point course)
  • EDCURRIC 201
  • EDPRAC 204
  • EDPROFST 208
  • EDPROFST 209
• Semester 2, 2026:
  • EDCURRIC 203
  • EDCURRIC 205
  • EDPROFM 300
  • EDPROFST 309

Enrolment Guidelines

• Enrol in Semester 1, 2026, if you have not completed EDUCSW 199 or EDUCSW 199A & 199B in previous semesters.
• Do not enrol if you have already completed EDUCSW 199 or EDUCSW 199A & 199B.

Year 3 - Final Semester

Students who started the programme in Semester Two, 2023, must enrol in the following courses in Semester 1, 2026:

• EDUCSW 199 (core, zero-point course)
• EDUC 324
• EDCURRIC 206
• EDPRAC 304
• EDPROFST 307

Enrolment Guidelines for Year 3

• Enrol in Semester 1, 2026, if you have not completed EDUCSW 199 or EDUCSW 199A & 199B in previous semesters.
• Do not enrol if you have already completed EDUCSW 199 or EDUCSW 199A & 199B.

Programme Structure and Courses

• EDUCSW 199: A core, zero-point course.
• EDCURRIC 201, EDCURRIC 203, EDCURRIC 205, EDCURRIC 206: Curriculum-related courses.
• EDPRAC 204, EDPRAC 304: Practicum courses.
• EDPROFST 208, EDPROFST 209, EDPROFST 307, EDPROFST 309: Professional studies courses.
• EDPROFM 300: A professional development course.
• EDUC 324: An education-related course.

Important Notes

• There is no mid-year (July) intake for this programme in 2025 and 2026.
• To avoid delays in completing the programme and incurring unnecessary costs, students must follow the enrolment guide provided.
