Program Overview
The Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is a 90-credit program that aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of interior design and complementary fields of study. Admission Requirements
- General Admission Requirements:
- Be the holder of a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) awarded by the Ministry of Education of Quebec or have equivalent training to the DEC.
- Have completed the Preparatory Year program of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Montreal, with certain restrictions.
- Be the holder of a pre-university diploma and have successfully completed one year of university studies, with certain restrictions.
- Have successfully completed at least 24 university credits other than those of the Preparatory Year program of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Montreal, with certain restrictions.
- Specific Requirements for This Program:
- For candidates with university studies in design acquired outside Canada, a portfolio, letter of motivation, and curriculum vitae are required.
- French Language Requirement:
- New French language requirement for admission starting from the winter of 2026.
- The requirement varies based on the language of previous studies.
- For those who have studied entirely in French, no additional French language test is required.
- For those who have not studied in French, a recognized French language test (TEF, TCF, DELF, DALF) with specific thresholds is required.
Tuition Fees
- Resident of Quebec: $2,177.05 per trimester for 15 credits (includes tuition fees of $1,513.35 and other compulsory fees of $663.70).
- Non-Resident of Quebec (Canadian): $5,387.20 per trimester for 15 credits (includes tuition fees of $4,723.50 and other compulsory fees of $663.70).
- International Student: $15,602.05 per trimester for 15 credits (includes tuition fees of $14,938.35 and other compulsory fees of $663.70).
- French or Belgian Francophone Student: $5,387.20 per trimester for 15 credits (includes tuition fees of $4,723.50 and other compulsory fees of $663.70).
