Introduction to the Baccalauréat in Psychology

The Baccalauréat in Psychology is a comprehensive undergraduate program that provides students with a solid foundation in psychology. The program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue further studies in psychology or related fields.


Program Structure

The program consists of 90 credits, divided into two chemins: the regular chemin and the honor chemin. The regular chemin comprises 45 obligatory credits, 39 to 42 optional credits, and a maximum of 6 elective credits. The honor chemin includes an additional 9 credits, which are reserved for students who have maintained a cumulative average of 3.7 or higher.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:


  • Be the holder of a Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) or equivalent.
  • Have completed a minimum of 24 credits of university-level coursework.
  • Meet the language proficiency requirements, which include a minimum score of B2 (400/699) on the Test d'Évaluation de Français (TEF) or equivalent.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the program vary depending on the student's residency status:


  • Résident(e) permanent(e) du Québec: $2,177.05 per trimester (15 credits).
  • Canadien(ne) non-résident(e) au Québec: $5,387.20 per trimester (15 credits).
  • Étudiant(e) international(e): $15,602.05 per trimester (15 credits).
  • Étudiant(e) français(e) or belge francophone: $5,387.20 per trimester (15 credits).
