Program Overview

The Certificat en journalisme multiplateforme is a 30-credit program offered by the Facultť de lapprentissage continu at the Universitť de Montrťal. Program Description

The program focuses on the practical aspects of journalism, with an emphasis on critical thinking, ethical standards, and the development of specific skills in information production and verification. Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet one of the following conditions:


  • Hold a DiplŰme d'ťtudes collťgiales (DEC) from the MinistŤre de l'…ducation du Quťbec or equivalent.
  • Have completed at least 24 university credits with a cumulative average of at least 2.0/4.3.
  • Have completed the AccŤs-FAC program at the Universitť de Montrťal.

French Language Requirement

Applicants must also satisfy the French language requirement, which can be met by:


  • Having completed secondary or pre-university studies entirely in French.
  • Having obtained a minimum score on a recognized French language test (e.g., TEF, TCF, DELF, DALF).
  • Having completed university studies in French with a minimum of 60 credits.
