  • Description: This calculus-based introductory physics course focuses on developing algorithmic problem-solving skills and is intended as a preparation for advanced courses in physics as well as further study in upper division science and engineering. Topics include elementary vector algebra, one-dimensional motion, particle dynamics, work and energy, conservation of energy, conservation of linear momentum, collisions, rotational kinematics and dynamics, conservation of angular momentum, oscillations, waves, and gravitation.
  • Special Notes: In Rome, this course is only offered in Fall.
