Course Overview

This self-guided online course brings together the latest research and developments in clinical practice to provide health professionals with a comprehensive understanding and up-to-date summary of the epidemiology, assessment, and treatment of treatment-resistant schizophrenia.


What You Will Learn

Gain contemporary skills and knowledge in the evaluation and management of treatment-resistant schizophrenia. Approximately 30% of people with schizophrenia have treatment-resistant schizophrenia, meaning they have not responded to at least two antipsychotic trials. Research into treatment-resistant schizophrenia is ongoing, with developments in assessment and treatment helping to improve the functional outcomes and quality of life of individuals and their carers.
