Programme Content
The program focuses on the path to getting a drug to the market, which can take years and involves varied, exciting, and research-filled processes. It covers chemical properties of active ingredients, administration methods, and drug behavior in humans. The program utilizes computer-aided methods and novel techniques, especially in research.
After passing the 2nd state examination in 'Pharmacy', students can enroll in a postgraduate program to obtain a Diplom, demonstrating their ability to perform scientific work. The courses deepen knowledge in specialist areas, including:

Structure
The two-semester degree program requires writing a final thesis in one of the core pharmaceutical subjects to demonstrate independent work on a scientific problem or question. Students must take courses of at least 2 hours per week in each semester and write a final thesis within 8 months, which can also be part of the practical year in the third section of the pharmaceutical examination.
