Risks of Digitisation, Cybercrime, Prevention & Security
The University of Twente and the I-Partnership are joining forces to strengthen national governments and educational institutions in the fight against cybercrime. With a customized in-company program, they offer professionals the opportunity to arm themselves against the risks of digitization and cybercrime.
Program Overview
The "Risks of Digitisation, Cybercrime, Prevention & Security" program is divided into two sessions of two days each. Participants will gain in-depth insight into the specific risks that digitization poses to their organization. They will learn not only to analyze cybercrime but also to organize preventive security measures.
Unique Approach
What makes this program unique is its multidisciplinary approach. Based on scientific theories from various fields such as criminology, ethics, and psychology, all relevant topics are covered. From trends in cyber threats to digital strategies and serious gaming, and from the business models of cybercriminals to the human factor in cybercrime and change management.
Case Study
A special aspect of this program is the treatment of the University of Maastricht case. Here, an evidence-based approach is taken to look at practice and draw lessons from a real situation. What went wrong during the ransomware attack? What are the ethical implications? What technical measures were taken, and what can we learn from them?
Disciplines Covered
In a concise manner, all relevant topics are covered based on scientific theories from various disciplines, including:
- Trends in cyber threats
