Introduction to the Engineering Doctorate (EngD) Program
The Engineering Doctorate (EngD) program, previously known as the PDEng program, is a professional doctoral degree that focuses on the application of engineering and scientific knowledge to real-world problems. As of September 1, 2022, the PDEng programs were renamed to Engineering Doctorate (EngD).
Information for EngD Trainees and Staff
The EngD program provides trainees and staff with all the rules and regulations within the program, including downloadable promotion materials, workflows, and forms.
Hora Finita
Trainees can log in to the Hora Finita portal using their username and regular UT password.
EngD Rules and Regulations
The EngD program has a charter and study guide that outline the rules and regulations for current and future candidates.
Charter for EngD
The EngD charter is available for candidates who started on or after a certain date, as well as for those who started before that date, in both English and Dutch.
Study Guide for EngD
The EngD study guide is available for candidates who started on or after a certain date, as well as for those who started before that date, with specific guides for different fields such as:
- EngD BIT
- EngD Civil Engineering
- EngD Energy & Process Technology
- EngD Maintenance
- EngD Robotics
Documents for Promotion and Acquisition
The program provides documents for promotion and acquisition, including:
- Brochures (updated brochures will be available soon)
- Presentations (general presentation for students)
- Workflows (acquisition workflow, programme workflow, etc.)
