Griffith Team Leadership Program
The Griffith Team Leadership Program is a unique opportunity for Griffith University students to develop their leadership skills and represent the university in various sports competitions.
Program Overview
The program requires a Griffith Team Leader (GTL) for each sport that competes at the Gold Coast 2025 Nationals. The GTL will assist the university's Team Management in ensuring that the team is well-represented and upholds the highest standards of sportsmanship and behavior.
Responsibilities
As a GTL, the student will be responsible for:
- Aiding in the promotion and recruitment of teams
- Ensuring that the team meets registration and payment deadlines
- Communicating information amongst the team
- Ensuring team members perform at their best and display a high standard of behavior, conduct, and sportsmanship

Eligibility
Griffith Team Leader opportunities are available to all Griffith University students. In most cases, a student from Brisbane and Gold Coast will be appointed as a GTL for each sport.
